Outreach Adventures
Gulfarium Marine Adventure Park introduces new educational outreach opportunities to assist teachers, schools, and the Florida panhandle community with the tools to discover and learn more about Florida’s biodiversity. Each program will meet multiple Florida Benchmark requirements, and can be tailored to fit teacher’s needs.
Reptile Outreach Adventure Options:
$150.00 + Travel Fee, 45 - 60 minute program (travel fee - $0.75 per mile / round trip) per classroom setting (maximum of 30 students).
Includes: Educator, PowerPoint, Animal Ambassador, & Bio-Facts.
Turtle, Tortoise, Terrapin: Adapting to Florida!
Florida has many unique habitats, from brackish marsh lands, to thick pine forests. Students will identify and learn about the similarities and differences between turtles, tortoises and terrapins, how they adapted to survive in Florida’s diverse landscapes, and necessary conservation efforts to help sustain their species.
Snake Expedition: Every Corner of the World!
Snakes have adapted to survive on almost every continent of the world, a true survival species. Students will take an in-depth look into the important role snakes play in our ecosystem, and their unique adaptations, helping to create positive change in attitudes towards snakes.
