Guest Service Supervisor / Education Assistant

The Guest Service Supervisor/Education Assistant position at Gulfarium Marine Adventure Park consists of the daily supervision of our Guest Services department as well as assisting our Education Coordinator with visiting school groups, school group bookings, and conducting instructor-led programs during the school year. Responsibilities include interacting with our guests and assisting them with their needs, answering any questions they may have, and/or sharing general information about our park and animals. Additional responsibilities consist of corresponding with teachers, booking school group field trips, meeting/escorting groups into the park, leading our instructor-led school group programs, oversee Sunset camp, and conducting monetary transactions. Daily duties include assisting animal encounter participants with check-in, distributing necessary gear for programs, mascot participation, and facility cleanliness. An in-depth knowledge of the facility/animals, park operations, and animal encounter programming is required. Applicants must exhibit leadership skills, supervise five to thirteen team members, work outdoors during the summer months, and be available on weekends and holidays. The ideal candidate will have the ability to provide exceptional customer service to guests of all ages, can multi-task, and must be able to lift 50 pounds.
