Special Events Assistant

Gulfarium Marine Adventure Park is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Special Events Assistant to help our Event Coordinator execute our after-hours special events. The special events assistant would be required to attend all currently-scheduled special events to assist in executing the event to meet the needs of the clients from start to finish. Duties would include but are not limited to; set up and breakdown of ceremony/reception areas, food/beverage attendant (set up, refresh, and clean up), and waste removal during and after the event. The ideal candidate would have a desire to work in the hospitality and guest services fields, maintain a professional demeanor when interacting with guests and vendors, must have good communication and interpersonal skills, and possess good teamwork skills. Must be able to life at least 40 lbs. Flexible work hours required.
